In My Camera Roll pushes creatives to find the beauty in the shapes and colors of everyday objects, whether it’s a visually pleasing photo of your morning breakfast or a composed photo of your friends in the park. TCK hopes to help you find the power of mobile photography, in which one can pick up their camera at any given time and capture the raw and realistic moments that exist outside of a staged photoshoot. Find beauty in the ordinary. Find beauty in the casual. Find beauty in your camera roll.

We’ve partnered with Nico Daniels a young photographer based in Houston, Texas to present you with the first installation of our prompts challenge. Nico has been featured in i-D Magazine and has worked with organizations like the Houston Center for Photography. Nico is known for his incredibly experimental, dynamic and playful images and we hope you’ll take some inspiration from his work as you tackle our first ever “Prompt” challenge.
