Community Feature:

“New Here” by Alana Bassett

This photo series is called "New Here.", and it's my first full shoot using film. The idea behind this project was to capture the processes of finding yourself and a support network in a new place. The models are all people that I feel are my community here in New York, after living here for my first year of college. To me, this project is one of the most meaningful ones I've done.
